Curvy Jones on: Day 1

I’ve run out of things to talk about, apparently. I can’t think about anything but weight loss and dating, which is making my blog uber boring… unless you care about Criminal Minds, in which I am FURIOUS that CBS did not renew AJ Cook (JJ)’s contract! And and ANDUH!! Paget Brewster’s character Emily Prentiss is, apparently, going to have fewer scenes, leaving the brilliant Garcia as the only full time female character on the show. FYI, CBS- this decision BLOWS. Argh, I’m so irritated.

So… what was I saying? Oh yeah. I’m boring unless you want to talk about Criminal Minds or Investigation Discovery or the History Channel, or brunch. Or food, but that goes back to dieting and… well. We’re not going there today! ENOUGH talking about the size of my butt (which seems a little smaller after Cardio Barre + Shred last night, but we’re NOT TALKING ABOUT IT!). So I saw this on another blog and thought haha that’s cute, NEXT.

But then I ran out of things to say. I had a couple of blog posts started but they fizzled out because I was sleepy when I started them and when I woke up I went………. “what the …..” *delete*

I’d never give out the blog address if I was just here to talk to myself. Because, frankly, I don’t like the sound of my voice.

So Day 1- favorite song.

Like I can pick a favorite. I have SO MANY songs that I just fricken’ LOVE. I mean… a lot. I can’t even think of one, I have so many. The one song that I will *gasp* and turn the radio up if I hear it is Lady In Red, Chris Deburgh. I am so serious. I love. this. song.

A funny (to me) story about this song. I love music, and I used to work at a radio station, back in Podunk. It was a family of stations– a TV station that was the ABC affiliate and seven radio stations. One of them was the trendy, contemporary hits station, the other was a lite rock station (which is now a country station, wtf). The Music Director for the Hits station would always let me know when he was going to play some Lenny Kravitz. The MD for the lite rock station would let me know when he was going to play Lady in Red. He LOVED my reaction… I think he programmed that song to play once a week, just so I would get excited.

There we are! Day 1, my fave song is Lady in Red by Chris DeBurgh. What’s yours?
